When a floor slab needs to be dead flat or an overlay needs to bond seamlessly, Ardex is the system we install. We apply the full Ardex line, self-leveling underlayments, thin overlays, repair mortars and waterproofing, to the manufacturer's specification, from primer through topcoat. A concrete floor's finish is only as good as the slab underneath. Ardex solves this by starting with the right underlayment. The K-15 and K-60 self-leveling products flow across an out-of-tolerance slab and cure to a flat, stable base that won't telegraph through any topcoat.
When the existing slab is too far gone to level, Ardex overlays like Feather Finish, SD-M and WJ-50 bond to prepared concrete and lay down a thin, seamless new surface. For spalled edges or damaged areas, Ardex repair mortars rebuild the concrete to a sound substrate before any finish goes on.
We measure the slab, test for moisture, and choose which Ardex products fit the substrate, the topcoat, and the end use. The full product list and sequence get locked in before work starts.
Prepare the concrete surface
The slab is mechanically prepped to the profile Ardex requires, moisture-tested to spec, and primed with the manufacturer's primer. No shortcuts, no substitutes.
Apply primer, body and topcoat
Each layer of the Ardex system goes down in the correct order, at the temperature and humidity the spec calls for, with proper cure time between coats.
Document and hand over
Once the final layer cures, you receive the product data sheets, the install record, and the warranty documentation so the coverage is clear and enforceable.
