Industrial Floor Coatings with Sika Floor Systems
Sika's floor coating portfolio spans self-leveling underlayments, epoxy and urethane topcoats, and engineered specialty systems for ESD, chemical resistance, and food-processing compliance. Laval Concrete applies SikaFloor systems as a certified Sika installer, matching the right coating to your facility's actual demands and executing the install protocol that makes the system last. Every project includes a free written estimate and firm schedule.

Product ecosystem
The SikaFloor Product Range
SikaFloor is not a single coating but a family of systems, each engineered for different facility conditions. SikaTop self-leveling products flatten slabs before finish coatings go down, correcting minor surface irregularities so the topcoat applies evenly. SikaFloor epoxy and polyurethane systems deliver the wear resistance and chemical tolerance that industrial and commercial floors demand. Specialty formulations handle conductive ESD requirements for electronics assembly, food-grade compliance with integrated cove base for processing plants, and decorative finishes for retail and showroom spaces.
We assess your facility's traffic patterns, chemical exposure, temperature swings, and any regulatory requirements, then select the matched SikaFloor system from the full range. Installation follows Sika's specification for that system: substrate prep, primer application, body coat, topcoat, and cure schedule. The system warranty covers both material and installation integrity when applied by a certified installer.
Pair Sika crack injection for substrate repair, Sika waterproofing for moisture control, and other Sika services as part of a complete floor program. See our warehouse flooring and commercial floor services for broader context.
Installation sequence
How SikaFloor Installation Works in Laval
-
Assess facility use and conditions
We evaluate the slab condition, traffic type and volume, chemical or thermal exposure, any regulatory compliance needs (ESD, food-grade, anti-slip), and environmental factors. This assessment determines which SikaFloor system is the right fit.
-
Prepare the concrete slab
The slab is ground to the profile specified for the chosen SikaFloor system, contaminants and old coatings removed, active cracks repaired with Sika-compatible materials, and the surface cleaned and primed with the matched Sika primer.
-
Apply SikaFloor system layers
The system is applied in sequence: primer, body coat at engineered thickness, aggregate broadcast for slip resistance if required, and topcoat. Each layer cures per Sika specification before the next is applied.
-
Document and release for service
Material batch records, application thickness, cure times, and maintenance protocol are documented for warranty support and facility records. The floor is released for service with clear guidance on initial use and ongoing care.
System selection
Why System Selection Determines Performance
A SikaFloor epoxy rated for light foot traffic will fail under forklift wheels; a urethane system designed for chemical resistance may not provide the slip resistance needed in a wet processing zone. The system must match the facility's actual demands, not a generic assumption. We spend time understanding your operation, then specify the SikaFloor system that will perform for years without premature failure.
Coordinate with Sika repair for substrate issues, manufacturing floor programs for multi-zone facilities, and our full brand range for complementary products and services.

SikaFloor Questions, Answered
System choice, ESD, chemical resistance, warranty and facility match.
SikaFloor urethane in our chemical handling zone. Three years of daily exposure, no degradation. The matched system spec made the difference.
ESD SikaFloor across our assembly zones. Resistance verified at install, documentation supports our customer audit. Real specialty system delivery.
SikaTop self-leveling to bring slabs flat for tile install. Tile contractor said it was the easiest substrate he had worked on in months. Trade coordination paid off.
They picked the right SikaFloor system for each zone in our multi-use facility, not one system everywhere. Better engineering, better outcomes.
